સરદાર વલ્લભભાઈ પટેલ આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય (SVPI) એરપોર્ટ મુસાફરોને ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સાંસ્કૃતિક અનુભવ પ્રદાન કરવા અને ગુજરાતની સમૃદ્ધ પરંપરાઓ પ્રદર્શિત કરવા સતત પ્રયત્નશીલ છે. આ જ યાત્રામાં ટર્મિનલ 2 પર મનમોહક કલા સ્થાપનોની શ્રેણીનું અનાવરણ કર્યું છે. આ કલાત્મક સ્થાપત્યો ગુજરાતની સ્વતંત્રતા ચળવળ, સાંસ્કૃતિક ઓળખ અને ઉત્સવની ભાવનાને ઉજાગર કરે છે, જે મુસાફરોને રાજ્યના સમૃદ્ધ વારસાની ઝલક આપે છે.

ત્રણ થીમ પર આધારિત સ્થાપત્યો

સ્વતંત્રતાની ચળવળ: ડિપાર્ચર્સ ચેક-ઇન હોલમાં સ્થિત મહાત્મા ગાંધી અને સરદાર વલ્લભભાઈ પટેલની સુંદર કળાકૃતિઓ ભારતના સ્વાતંત્ર્ય સંગ્રામમાં ગુજરાતની ભૂમિકાને દર્શાવે છે. તે સ્વતંત્રતાની યાત્રામાં ગુજરાતની મુખ્ય ભૂમિકાને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ છે. 350 મીટર ધાતુના પટમાં બનાવવામાં આવેલા ભીંતચિત્રો પિત્તળ અને તાંબાના ત્રિ-પરિમાણીય શિલ્પો છે.

ઉત્સવ વોલ – નવરાત્રી અને ઉત્તરાયણ ઉજવણી: આગમનના બેગેજ ક્લેમ હોલમાં સ્થિત આ જીવંત ભીંતચિત્ર નવરાત્રી અને ઉત્તરાયણ જેવા ગુજરાતના વિશ્વ-પ્રસિદ્ધ તહેવારોની ભાવનાને દર્શાવે છે. ઉત્સવ વોલ એક ધાતુ ત્રિ-પરિમાણીય સ્થાપન છે. તે પેટર્નવાળી પિત્તળની પટ્ટીઓ સાથે મોડ્યુલર શીટ બ્લોક્સથી બનેલું છે. ભવ્ય ગરબા નર્તકો અને આકાશમાં ઉડતા પતંગોના લયબદ્ધ ચિત્રો સાથે ઉત્સવ વોલ મુસાફરોનું સ્વાગત પરંપરા, આનંદ અને સાંસ્કૃતિક ગૌરવની ઉષ્માભરી ઉજવણી સાથે કરે છે.

પ્રગતિ–ની–પતંગ: ગુજરાતની પતંગ ઉડાવવાની પરંપરાથી પ્રેરિત આ ગતિશીલ શિલ્પ ઉત્તરાયણ સાથે સંકળાયેલી ઉર્જા, રંગ અને આનંદને જીવંત બનાવે છે. SVPI એરપોર્ટ ટર્મિનલ 2 ના ડોમેસ્ટિક અરાઇવલ વિસ્તારમાં સ્થિત આ શિલ્પમાં કાંસ્યથી બનેલા બાળકોના જીવન-કદના શિલ્પો છે. બાળકોના આનંદી અભિવ્યક્તિઓ અને આકાશમાં પતંગોની ગતિશીલ ગતિ દ્વારા, આ કૃતિ આશા, પ્રગતિ અને ભાવિ પેઢીઓની અમર્યાદિત આકાંક્ષાઓ વ્યક્ત કરે છે. આ પતંગો ધાતુ અને સ્ટેનલેસ સ્ટીલના ટેકા સાથે રચાયેલી એક્રેલિક શીટ્સથી બનેલા છે અને બ્રાઈટ લાઇટ્સથી પ્રકાશિત થાય છે.
