Adani Foundation with the support of Mundra Petrochem Ltd. celebrated World Environment Day with a significant plantation drive

The Adani Foundation continues to uphold its strong commitment to environmental sustainability through meaningful actions that enhance biodiversity and support climate change mitigation. On World Environment Day, the Foundation with the support of Mundra Petrochem Ltd. celebrated with a significant plantation drive at Deshalpar Kanthi, planting 3,000 saplings across 10 acres. This effort contributes to greener landscapes and ecological restoration.

In the previous year, the Foundation successfully established 12 Adani Vans across 35 acres in Kutch, planting over 89,000 saplings. These efforts have created micro-habitants that support local biodiversity, promote groundwater recharge, and improve soil health. In 2025, the Foundation is expanding its green footprint by covering an additional 40 acres with 45,000 new plantations, reinforcing its commitment to conserving nature and building climate-resilient ecosystems.

The event was graced by the presence of the Executive Director of APSEZ-Mundra, Respected Rakshit Shah, who wholeheartedly supported these initiatives. This entire initiative was carried out under the guidance of State CSR Head, Respected Pankti Shah, whose leadership continues to inspire impactful environmental actions.

Community engagement was a key aspect of the event, with village leaders and other villagers present appreciating and supporting the work. This initiative is part of the project “Harit Paryavaran Ki Ek Pahal,” and was supported by Mundra Petrochem LTD.

These efforts align with the Adani Foundation’s vision to create long-term environmental impact while involving local communities in conservation initiatives. Through these actions, the Foundation is making significant strides towards a sustainable future.
